Today I'm loving this:

Svar på frågan om månadsdockorna (In swedish, sorry my international friends)

2 pager with a memory pocket

I made this layout a while ago. It's the story of when we did fiddler on the roof. When I dug around amongst my memorabilia I found my rehearsal journal so I really wanted to add those to the page in some way.... Here are the layout without the pocket

I put the journaling pages in a separate 6x12 page protector. I decorated the page protector with patterned paper and put it in the middle so when you are looking in the album you can easily pull the journal out and read if you want to

The pocket does interrupt the 2 pager a bit, but I think that just makes it fun.

Today I have started on the christmas cleaning and decorating. As soon as get enough decorations up I will show you :-)

Lots and lots of love!

Something warm for Molly

I made this bunting bag for sweet baby Molly. I'm sorry about the bad picture but this was almost impossible to photograph.

I've been thinking about all the sweet comments I get and I just made a promise to myself that I will try to reply to everyone of them from now:-)

Lots of love to you all!

My craftroom right now...

I did a total makeover of my craftroom this weekend. My plan was to:

1. Get my desk away from the window since it was driving me nuts that I couldn't open or close it as I wished (since I couldn't reach it)

2. Get more color in there. I'm very inspired by colors but somehow my creative space is very white and boring

This is the view from the living room door. I still want to add more colorful stuff but I feel quite happy about it.

This is the view from the kitchen door that is now blocked by my desk (but seriously, I don't need two doors)

My scrap table

One bin is for letter stickers and thickers and one is for stickers and rubons

My stamps are organized in zip-lock bags in a box

This holds inkpads and...

journaling spots and....

this drawer holds bits and pieces for quick cardmaking

The drawer holds chipboard shapes and each letter in the alphabet has its own drawer ( In this I sort all those letters that are left over on a sticker sheet) On top you can see my stickles and mists

I keep my papers organized buy brand mostly and some by color or theme

my printer station (with my brand new photo printer :-))

I added some color to my pots

This is my needle felting space

I sorted my wool by color

Another corner of the room

These are my color bins where I keep my color sorted decorations

I sorted my yarn by color so it can inspire me (I really need to shop for more yarn...)

Aren't these colors awesome?

Embroidery floss

A place for my magazines

One desk drawer holds adhesives

The second drawer holds the crop a dile and my punches

The third drawer holds chipboard pieces, brads and some matchboxes for altering

This little tote holds my crochet hooks, knitting needles and other bits and pieces

sewing thread

I feel really happy about my room and I think I want to keep it like this :-)

Now desperately need to sleep my nephew woke up at 6.15 this morning...

Lots and lots of love!

I'm doing it again...

Reorganizing my craft room that is :-) I know I do this soooo often but I just love doing it. The worst thing is that I have to put all the stuff in the living room and kitchen. Tomorrow my awesome nephew is spending the day and night but I will try to share the result tomorrow anyway if we get him to fall a sleep :-D

Lots and lots of love to you all!

More information about my december daily album

I'm using an american crafts 6x6 modern album. My foundation pages are different sizes. Ali Edwards writes about this project: December Daily is an album that documents the month of December leading up to Christmas day (and sometimes beyond – that’s completely up to you). It is a chance to reflect, to share, to celebrate the season in a manageable, in-the-moment way. The entire key to this album is to put it together BEFORE December.

My plan is to document every day from first of advent to Christmas day. Every evening i will print one or a few photos (on my new photo printer, yey!) and put on that days foundation page. I will also add journaling and other bits and pieces. Most of my pages will not have page protectors, I will just stick the photo directly on the patterned paper or the cardstock. The foundation of all my pages are kraft colored cardstock that i punched holes in with my crop a dile.

Some pages in my album are a bit different, I got most my inspiration from Alis wonderful albums. Here are a few examples of my different pages:

December 17th is an envelope. I think I will put some notes in it and maybe some photos. I might stick a small photo on the front as well.

December first is just a tiny strip. I will how ever use the backside of the day before so there is plenty of space to add photos and words.

December 15th is just a 6x6 pageprotector that I have stitched so I easily can slip a 4x6 photo in there.

I will share my pages with you as a put my album together. I can't wait to start :-)
