I did a total makeover of my craftroom this weekend. My plan was to:
1. Get my desk away from the window since it was driving me nuts that I couldn't open or close it as I wished (since I couldn't reach it)
2. Get more color in there. I'm very inspired by colors but somehow my creative space is very white and boring
This is the view from the living room door. I still want to add more colorful stuff but I feel quite happy about it.
This is the view from the kitchen door that is now blocked by my desk (but seriously, I don't need two doors)
My scrap table
One bin is for letter stickers and thickers and one is for stickers and rubons
My stamps are organized in zip-lock bags in a box
This holds inkpads and...
journaling spots and....
this drawer holds bits and pieces for quick cardmaking
The drawer holds chipboard shapes and each letter in the alphabet has its own drawer ( In this I sort all those letters that are left over on a sticker sheet) On top you can see my stickles and mists
I keep my papers organized buy brand mostly and some by color or theme
my printer station (with my brand new photo printer :-))
I added some color to my pots
This is my needle felting space
I sorted my wool by color
Another corner of the room
These are my color bins where I keep my color sorted decorations
I sorted my yarn by color so it can inspire me (I really need to shop for more yarn...)
Aren't these colors awesome?
Embroidery floss
A place for my magazines
One desk drawer holds adhesives
The second drawer holds the crop a dile and my punches
The third drawer holds chipboard pieces, brads and some matchboxes for altering
This little tote holds my crochet hooks, knitting needles and other bits and pieces
sewing thread
I feel really happy about my room and I think I want to keep it like this :-)
Now desperately need to sleep my nephew woke up at 6.15 this morning...
Lots and lots of love!
